Ryan is an accidental renaissance man: a crawlspace and foundation inspector, a programmer, a Latinist specializing in Vulgate studies and publishing, a husband, a father, and a Christian.
His introduction to the Puritans came through a modernized edition of Jonathan Edwards’ Resolutions, which opened a lasting interest in the practical theology of the Puritan tradition. He holds degrees from Geneva College (B.A. Biblical Studies) and Reformed Theological Seminary (MDiv.).
